What Causes Acne? April 2, 2010

Acnezine is an entire skin care management system that finds the source of your acne and not only heals the blemishes you have, but also treats future outbreaks that you don’t even see yet! Most acne products available today only treat blemishes that you already have, without helping your skin prevent more from forming. This can lead to frustrating and costly efforts.

Acne is caused when the hair follicles in our skin get blocked. The oil produced by hair follicles, called sebum, is normally beneficial because it helps prevent the skin from drying and limits skin infections. But when sebum can’t drain, it builds up and actually becomes a culture medium for bacteria.

Just like you, thousands of people from all over the world suffer from mild to moderate acne, and just like you they have tried everything with little or no results. Knowing that topical chemicals can be harsh, we spent years researching and developing a solution that is safe and works to cleanse the entire body.

“It was unbelievable! After all these years, my acne has cleared up, and even the scars are starting to look better. “

- B.B., Boise ID

CNN Story

“Acne can cause significant emotional distress for adolescents–as well as for their parents. If not treated adequately, acne can lead to scarring of the skin.”

Do you suffer from acne and blackheads?  Are you looking for a answers about how to look and feel better about yourself?  Then, Removing Blackheads Products is for you! Reports show that over 90 percent of all adolescents and almost 25 percent of all adults are acne sufferers. And although acne affects about 50 percent of all adult women, acne does affect males and females worldwide, regardless of nationality.

This website includes information based upon research about acne. It strives to help clear up myths from facts and present an overview of the issues surrounding acne along with possible solutions available to help with the prevention and treatment of acne, all based upon the most recent studies, reports, articles and findings available, so that you can learn more acne health care.

For example, does chocolate really cause blackheads? And how about oily foods? Do French fries bring on the acne? The latest reports show that although scientific evidence is not 100% accurate in this area, your diet does not directly cause acne. And by diet, this means not only chocolate and French fries, but also any other dietary combinations with sugar and oil or other ingredients.

Four Types of Acneremoving blackheads image

There are basically four types of acne:

  • Whiteheads
  • Blackheads
  • Pimples and
  • Nodules.

Whiteheads are when the sebum (oil) and resulting bacteria are trapped below the skin’s surface and you can actually see a white head appear above (or near popping out of) the skin. Blackheads are when the sebum and resulting bacteria are only partially trapped, slowly draining out the surface and turning black because of your skin’s melanin or pigmentation.  In the absence of either white or blackhead are generally (but not always) smaller pimples. And the often deeper, boil-like lesions are referred to as nodules.

All forms of acne can be mild, moderate or severe. Typically, mild acne is visible in the form of whiteheads and blackheads, sometimes pimples. With moderate acne, more pimples and pustules are present on the face, some may appear on the back or chest. And with severe acne, many nodules develop, often large and sore, over parts of the face, back, chest and other body areas. This type of acne can lead to scarring. Actually, lesser cases of acne have been followed by scarring. So for those with possible nodular acne, seeking advice from a healthcare provider as soon as possible is recommended.

A gender issue to note is that males more often have the severe form of acne rather than females, due to their hormones. And the areas where they tend to break out most frequently are unfortunately more difficult to treat, the chest and back.

The real cause of acne, including blackheads, can actually be a blend of several factors that we’ll discuss here. Get the information you need from this blackhead removal guide today!

“I had terrible acne for years, which eventually stopped in my early twenties. Unfortunately the acne left behind some pitt marks in my face where it had been the most severe. I was thinking about a laser treatment, but instead tried the Scar Treatment Kit. I noticed results right away, they were right when they said ‘this is powerful’. My skin now looks a thousand times better”

How to Choose Facial Acne Products February 15, 2010

Filed under: skin care — martyyy @ 2:06 pm

Acne Cleanser

It depends on your personal preferences when you choose the form of the cleanser. Foaming or non-foam? Bar or liquid? All types of cleaning work equally well, then choose the one you are familiar with. In general, non-foaming cleanser tend to be less drying than foaming cleanser. This may be a good choice if your skin is already on the dry side because of acne treatment.

Medicated acne cleansers are both OTC and prescription, and usually contain benzoyl peroxidesalicylic acid or sulfur. Regular use may contribute to pore blockages and breakouts, although they usually drying the skin. If you’re not with any other acne treatment product, a medicated acne cleansers may be a good choice.

Moisturizer

If you have oily skin or are prone to acne, choose an oil-free moisturizer labeled non-comedogenic or non-acnegenic. Oil-free products have no added oils that can leave a heavy greasy feeling on the skin. Noncomedogenic products are much less likely to clog pores and cause breakouts.

Furthermore, when the choice of moisturizer remember that creams are generally heavier than a lotion. If you want a lighter product, go with a lotion.

Know if your moisturizer contains exfoliating ingredients. Many contain moisturizers alpha-hydroxy acids, retinol, salicylic acid or other exfoliating ingredients. These ingredients can be used to improve acne, especially mild acne or whiteheads, to increase the turnover of the cell.

But if you take any topical medication for acne, moisturizers with these ingredients can irritate the skin, and can increase the peeling and flaking. In this case, it is best to use a moisturizer without exfoliating ingredients unless your dermatologist recommends it.

If your skin is sensitive, choose a hypoallergenic, fragrance-free formula. Fragrances can irritate sensitive skin or acne and inflamed. And if you’re dealing with very dry skin, desquamation caused by acne medicines, highly perfumed moisturizers may burn or sting when applied. Your best option is to choose a fragrance free, hypo-allergenic products. Be aware that without perfume is not the same as fragrance-free.

Do not forget the SPF. So many moisturizers contain SPF, and is a simple and easy way to be sure to get sunscreen. Use a sunscreen every day will help protect your skin against aging and skin cancer. This is especially important if you are using acne treatments that cause photosensitivity, or increase your sun sensitivity.

Sunscreen

As explained before, some moisturizer now contain SPF, you can choose to use Sunscreen or not.

SPF means Sun Protection Factor. The higher the SPF, the greater protection against UVB rays of the sun. The SPF number lets you know how long you can stay out of the sun without burning. For example, if one takes 15 minutes for a person to burn, an SPF of 15 is allowed to remain in the sun 15 times longer without burning.

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends using an SPF of 15 or more for maximum protection. SPF is located on floors 2 to 60. Does higher: the best protection? Not necessarily. An SPF of 50 only provides 1% to 2% protection than an SPF 30.

Advice

The skin of the face, neck and chest is quite thin and delicate. Always use product specifically designed for the face to reduce the risk of irritation. It’s not about the price, but how the product make your skin feel. If your skin doesn’t feel right, maybe it is not the right product for you. Try a different brand.

If you still feel overwhelmed by the large number of options available, do not be afraid to ask a professional. Ask your dermatologist what he/she recommends.

At some stage in all our lives we want clearer, fresher, younger looking skin. Well it can be achieved without spending a lot of money and it can happen naturally! What you must do is persevere and over the course of three weeks your skin will begin to look fresher and clearer. Here’s how:

1. Keeping your skin clean is your first priority! You must cleanse your face morning and night with a gentle, natural cleanser that not only rids the skin of dirt and grime but then treats it with an antibacterial ingredient like tea tree oil.

2. After cleansing the skin pat dry and then spray a fine toning mist over the face to cool and help close the pores while they are clean. Let this mist dry on the face.

3. When the toner has dried apply a very small amount of moisturizer over the entire face and neck. Look for a moisturizer that is made for problem skin types and contains antibacterial ingredients like tea tree oil and lavender essential oil. These ingredients are gentle but very effective at clearing the skin from blemishes and pimples.

4. Getting the right amount of restful sleep your body needs nightly will reflect in the state of your skin. Seven hours is generally adequate. Not enough sleep over a period of time will result in problems that are hard to cure such as loose skin under the eyes and dark circles.                    5. The food you eat is of the utmost importance for healthy, clear skin! Make sure you are getting a good amount of fresh fruits and vegetables and limit your red meat intake to three or four times a week. Foods that are easily digested will help your system keep your skin nourished and promote fresh, new cell growth. Drink lots and lots of water too!

6. Cleanse the skin on your body and face with a weekly scrub. When using a body scrub start at your feet and work towards the heart, this helps eliminate toxins. Doing it the opposite direction will push the toxins back into your system. Use a very gentle facial scrub on your face and neck as these areas can be easily damaged.

7. Try an Aspirin face mask! This mask is having fantastic results on those people with open pores, pimples and acne. Crush about 15 aspirin tablets to a powder mix to a paste with a little water, less than 1 teaspoon and then apply to a cleansed face. Leave for twenty minutes to work its way into the skin and then rinse off and apply a light moisturizer. Try this weekly, after a face scrub.

8. Once a month use a home steam treatment to thoroughly draw out impurities from the face. Add boiling water to a basin or bowl and add two drops of tea tree oil. Place your face over this with a towel covering and gently let the steam open and cleanse the pores. Be careful not to let the steam burn your face. Finish with a tepid face wash.

9. Get out into the fresh air and take a walk, swim in the sea, ride a bike and have fun! The exercise will boost your system and your skin will love it.

10. Take a fish oil supplement daily. Cultures that eat a lot of fish have clearer skin and the fish oil helps eliminate toxins from the body and by now you know that is fantastic for your skin!

These ten easy tips will help you get that clear skin you so desperately want, remember to make the lifestyle changes you need to and enjoy the benefits that will come with it! A fresher, clearer more youthful looking complexion.

Acne Treatment February 14, 2010

Development of acne can be traced to seven main reasons:

1) Genetics, if one of your parents had acne, chances are you will too.
2) Hormones, during puberty oil glands become more active thus producing more oil to the skin. For some people, this excess oil will clog the pores on the face and produce pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. When these blemishes can not erupt, a bacterium sets in under the skin and thus causes redness and inflammatory acne.
3) Stress, although stress does not cause acne, like any skin disorder, it will aggravate the condition. In addition, food will aggravate your acne if you have food allergies.
4) Cleaning your face, use of harsh cleansing products or cleansing products that have ingredients that you may be allergic may cause acne.
5) Poor facial cleansing, opposite of too much cleansing or wrong products that contain harsh chemical ingredients, not cleaning your skin properly to reduce the excess oil will clog pores and produce an outbreak of acne.
6) Medication, certain medications, including barbiturates, seizure medication and steroids are known to cause acne breakouts.

Acne is the most common skin disorder in the United States. It affects those in there teenage years to early 20′s. Acne usually affects teenage girls on their face, while boys are usually infected on their backs. While there is no cure for acne, there are numerous skin care products and gentle herbal home made recipes to reduce the outbreaks of acne.

A skin disease such as acne can cause psychological impairments and physical embarrassment. An outbreak of acne leads the person to become very self-conscious about their appearance and thus lower self-esteem. Additionally, the person can become withdrawn, and depressed because of the acne on their face.

Acne is a skin disease that can cause psychological impairments as well as physical. Severe acne can leave deep scars and that can lead to the person becoming self-conscious or have lower self-esteem. In some instances, it can lead to the person becoming withdrawn and depressed; however there are many medications available today that can reduce the amount of scarring that acne can cause.

Research in this type of skin disorder has proven to be quite productive. There are several types of treatment for both mild to severe cases. Severe acne that shows signs of inflammation and possible scarring should seek a physician for treatment and possibly anti-inflammatory medicines. However, mild cases of acne have had excellent results with herbal home remedies and over the counter creams.

Body Care February 13, 2010

Filed under: body care — martyyy @ 11:20 pm

Many individuals have suffered from acne at one time or another in their lives.  It may lessen or worsen with the seasons, diet or with hormonal changes in the body.  While it is not a life-threatening condition, many who deal with acne may feel a loss of self-esteem, especially if the acne is severe or leaves behind scarring.  The acne may also be painfully inflamed or sore.  Certainly, the shelves are full of medications especially formulated for the elimination of acne, but these medications may cause dry, flaky skin and may also aggravate the condition.  Therefore, natural cures for acne may be the first line of defense because they can be less harsh on the skin.

Mix equal parts of fresh lime juice and milk and use a cloth or cotton ball to apply the resulting mixture to the inflamed areas.  Let sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse clean.

Yogurt and oatmeal make a wonderful acne healing mask for the face.  The yogurt’s lactic acid content can serve to soothe the skin, reducing inflammation and cleansing pores.  Oatmeal can soothe irritation and reduce inflammation also.  Mix plain yogurt with enough finely ground oatmeal to make a paste.  Apply the mask to a clean, dry face and let sit for about 15 minutes.  Rinse gently with warm water and pat dry.  If necessary, apply a light oil such as olive or sunflower oil to moisturize your face.

Ripe tomatoes are a natural astringent for the face and are great for oily skin.  Simply cut a ripe tomato in half and apply to the acne areas.  Leave the juice for about 20 minutes, then rinse clean.  You may also use tomato paste for easier application.

Please remember to do a skin patch test before applying any of these recipes to your skin and/or face.  This article is for informational purposes only and is not intended to treat, diagnose or cure any condition.  Consult with your doctor or medical professional before undertaking any type of treatment.

3 Important Acne Skin Tips February 13, 2010

Filed under: Acne — martyyy @ 11:07 pm

When dealing with acne skin care, the largest part of the medical professionals generally recommend that people affected with acne must practice certain acne skin care methods that will help make better the condition of their skin.

Acne, as you may already know, is a very relentless skin disorder that affects thousands of individuals from all over the world. It not merely affects the exterior of the skin but also the inner layers of the skin. Acne usually occurs on the face, neck, chest and back, and it starts at some stage in the puberty period.

Throughout the past several years, a high number of acne experts and skin care professionals have conducted numerous studies on how to prevent the development of acne. And happily, these skin care specialists have come out with specific acne skin care tips that can be of great help for combating acne. I have chosen the three simpler yet most powerful acne skin care tips that you can pursue in order to have a healthier skin. These are mentioned below:

Acne Skin Care Tip # 1: You Should Always Cleanse Your Skin Very Tenderly

First of all, personal cleanliness is very essential for fighting acne. So most experts more often than not suggest, you should gently clean your skin with a mild cleanser at least two times a day. This easy acne skin care step is deemed valuable for fighting acne because washing your face or the additional affected areas will wipe away the acne-causing bacteria found on the skin. In addition, note that even though you are occasionally told to scrub your face, scrubbing is not a good acne skin care step since it will just trigger the development of acne, worsening the condition.

In addition to this acne skin care stage, it is of value noting that astringents are not continually recommended unless the skin is very oily. And, they should only be applied on the oily spots.

Acne Skin Care # 2: You Ought to Refrain from Regularly Handling Your Skin

Another useful acne skin care tip is to avoid frequently handling of the skin. Don’t pinch, pick or squeeze your pimple because it will only worsen the situation. Many of the people have considered this acne skin care step as one of the most valuable acne skin care tips knowing that it may well only cause infection and scar development. As this acne skin care tip holds, you should keep away from rubbing and touching your skin lesions if possible.

Acne Skin Care # 3: Just for the ladies. At all times Select Cosmetics With Awareness

This remaining acne skin care tip holds that women who are being treated for acne must change some of the cosmetics they use. Note that in order to avoid the onset or the progress of acne, the cosmetics you plan on using like the foundation, blush, moisturizers, and eye shadow must be oil free.

Apart from that, this acne skin care tip also holds that you need keep away from oily hair products for they might cause closed comedones (blocked pores – blackheads). Therefore, those products that are labeled as noncomedogenic (a term applied to oils, lotions that do not block pores) should be used.

It is a fact that many of us are very aware of our skin condition. And as such, we are for ever and a day wanting to have a fresh, good-looking skin as much as possible. Unfortunately, many of us also fail to come to the conclusion that uncomplicated steps are the best ways to achieve this goal.

We frequently are blind enough that we don’t see what’s actually right or wrong for our skin. We regularly fall into so much frustration and anxiety that make us go buy any high-priced beauty products that in the conclusion just turn out to be a misuse of time and money, and even aggravate our acne.

For useful things to know in the sphere of tips on how to loose weight – make sure to go through this publication. The times have come when concise info is truly only one click away, use this chance.
